Founded in May 2003 by Tashi Sherpa and family, Sherpa Adventure Gear manufactures ethical, sustainable outdoor and travel clothing in Nepal. The range includes fleeces, shirts, shorts, dresses, leggings and accessories crafted from eco-friendly materials (recycled polyester, organic cotton, hemp, Tencel, Merino wool). Every item sold funds a school day for a Nepalese child through the Room to Read education programme. Supplies consumers and retailers across the US, UK and Europe; products carried in specialty outdoor and lifestyle retailers.
