West Indies Rum Distillery Ltd. (WIRD) was established in 1893 at Blackrock, Barbados and is the island's highest-volume distillery. Acquired by French spirits house Maison Ferrand in 2017, WIRD produces bulk and branded rums including Cockspur and supplies Malibu rum. As a major contract distillery it produces rum for numerous international labels sold across Europe and North America.
