About

Princes Tuna (Mauritius) traces its origins to a 1972 joint venture between Mitsubishi and Ireland Blyth Limited. Today owned by Princes Group, the company operates two processing sites in Port Louis producing tuna cans, pouches, loins and ventresca for European and American canneries. A 2015 merger with Thon des Mascareignes made it the largest tuna processor in the Indian Ocean region.
