Foskor is South Africa's sole phosphate mining and phosphoric-acid producer, extracting phosphate rock from the world-class Phalaborwa Complex in Limpopo and processing it into phosphoric acid, granular fertilisers, and phosphate concentrate at its Richards Bay manufacturing plant. A subsidiary of the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), Foskor supplies the South African and global fertiliser industry and exports phosphoric acid to fertiliser blenders in India, Europe, and Brazil.
