SODECOTON (Societe de Developpement du Coton), founded in 1974, is Cameroon's national cotton company managing cotton cultivation and ginning in the northern savannah region. Cameroon is one of Central Africa's largest cotton producers. SODECOTON exports seed cotton, cotton lint, and cottonseed oil to European and Asian textile mills.
