British manufacturer of the legendary Islander and Trislander, supplying island-hopping and utility operators since 1965.
Britten-Norman, based on the Isle of Wight, manufactures the BN2 Islander and BN2A Trislander. The Islander is a twin-engine, high-wing, 9-seat utility aircraft optimized for island commuter services, coastguard patrol, and rural air link operations. Over 1,300 Islanders have been delivered and are operated in more than 120 countries. The aircraft is maintained in production for ongoing orders from remote community airlines, island services, and government operators.
