Artesanías de Colombia was established by the national government in 1964 to promote and commercialise traditional Colombian crafts from all regions, including Wayuu mochilas, Muisca ceramics, Chocó woven baskets, and gold filigree jewellery. The entity supports artisan communities and supplies gift, museum, and specialty retail buyers internationally.
