Alliance Group is a New Zealand farmer-owned co-operative and the country's second-largest red-meat exporter, processing lamb, mutton, beef, and venison at eight plants in the South and North Islands. The co-operative exports chilled and frozen product under the Alliance and Silere Alpine Origin Merino brands to more than 65 countries, with strong positions in the United Kingdom, China, the United States, and the Middle East. Alliance Group holds AHRI status in China and is a significant supplier of halal-certified lamb and mutton to Gulf Cooperation Council markets.
